Pastor Lorenzo Martinez is a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ who earnestly occupies the office of the teacher and who simplistically but passionately expounds the Word of God. A lover of the Lord and His people, the Body of Christ, it is one of Pastor Larry’s deepest desires to impact that Body such that we come to realize how fitly joined together we truly are, and how important it is to allow the Love of God to flow unhindered and unencumbered inside and outside of the Body of Christ. As we do, we will more readily grow up and become what the Master destined for us to become.

Pastor Lorenzo was born, raised and educated in the Bronx. In 1976, he earned his Bachelor’s degree from Duke University. As God would have it, he met and eventually married his best friend, co-laborer and confidante, Pastor Margaret Rose Martinez. The Lord has been gracious and blessed him with two sons, making him the proud parent of Nathaniel Lamar and Matthew Emmanuel. In 1989, Pastor Lorenzo was ordained a deacon. In 2007, he was elevated to the office of the Pastor. Considering it an honor, a privilege, and an expression of God’s trust, Pastor Lorenzo now co-pastor’s with his wife the most loving and most precious Body of Believers on the planet called Resurrection Deliverance Church International.

He has been actively pursuing the will of God in the ministry desiring above all else to fulfill the call of God in his life.

Fourteen years ago, the Lord graced Pastors Lorenzo and Margaret Martinez with the honor of nurturing Resurrection Deliverance Church International (RDCI), a fellowship birthed “out of the heart of God”. Together they lead believers in acquiring practical knowledge of God’s Word helping them to successfully bring about change and transformation. RDCI is a loving church that is filled with a people who are passionate for Him. It is located in the southwestern part of Yonkers, New York.

Reverend Margaret Martinez is best known for her love for today’s youth. A native of Yonkers, she continues to support them in both spiritual and secular formats. Having attended Morgan State University, and a graduate of Pace University in White Plains, N.Y., she understands the value of a good education which is often reflected in her strong teaching ministry.

Reverend Martinez serves as the first chair of the Narrow Way Bible Institute Advisory Board. She is the President of Margaret Martinez Ministries and shares pastoral duties with her husband at RDCI. She oversees the Women of Warfare Conference Ministries where women learn and are encouraged to give Godly place and purpose to the spiritual warrior within themselves. Reverend Martinez conducts a Christ Curriculum Workshop, a class which teaches the Leadership and Lordship of Jesus from a focus of His Character and Nature. In conjunction with M.M.M., Reverend Martinez hosts a community outreach program in the Fall called “Faith and Fitness.” This effort is designed to bring its participants an acute awareness of the importance and benefits of adopting and adhering to a healthy and wholesome lifestyle.

Reverend Martinez has been happily married to Reverend Lorenzo Martinez for over 40 years and are the proud parents of two biological sons; Nathaniel and Matthew Martinez as well as many spiritual children in the community.
